Job description
- Respect company’s and SAAQ’s safety rules. Making deliveries.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Secure cargo. Untie upon delivery.
- Make sure the delivery note is signed.
- Install business yard signs on building site.
- Make sure the order is whole.
- Perform mechanical inspection on a daily basis and fill out maintenance log book.
- Inform mechanics of any problem there might be.
- Make sure log book is up to date when required.
- Fill out and keep report forms as required by law.
- Occasionally perform truck maintenance. Keep truck clean.
- Determine before you leave the best way to get on the delivery site.
- Respect all company’s safety rules.
You are a perfect fit for the job
- 1 to 2 year experience.
- Class 1 driver’s license.
- US classification (asset).
- Valid passport.
- ASP Construction certification.
- FAST card (asset).
- Functional English.
- Capable of securely loading truck/load must be balanced.
